Our team handles the logistics, from dispatch through to onsite setup, meaning you won’t need to arrange separate couriers or rely on venue staff to configure the equipment. We deliver to offices, conference centres, exhibition halls, hotels and outdoor festival sites across London, the rest of the UK and internationally. Once onsite, our technicians set up each device, connect it to your network or a dedicated temporary network, and confirm everything is functioning correctly before they leave. If your event spans across multiple days, we can arrange for support staff to remain available throughout. All we need from you in advance is the venue address, access times and a brief overview of your technical requirements, from there, we can take care of everything.

Can laptops be pre-loaded with specific software before delivery?

Absolutely, one of the most common requests we receive is for machines to arrive ready to use, pre-configured with the exact software your team or delegates will need. Whether that’s Microsoft Office, bespoke training applications, event management platforms or industry specific programmes, we can install and test everything in advance. This is useful for training courses and workshops, where every delegate needs an identical setup. If you’re running a presentation or demonstration that requires specific file access, we can also load documents, assets or browser bookmarks as required. Just provide us with the software licences and any installation files in advance, and we’ll handle the rest. For off the shelf programmes we hold commonly used licences in house, so it’s worth asking our team if we can cover your needs.

How far in advance should I book laptop or desktop hire for an event?

Generally, the earlier you book the better, particularly for large orders or events requiring a high volume of identical machines. For smaller requirements of ten devices or fewer, we can often accommodate bookings at relatively short notice but confirming at least two weeks ahead gives us sufficient time to prepare, pre-load software and arrange delivery logistics. For larger events such as conferences, exhibitions or multiple day training programmes requiring twenty or more units, we’d recommend booking four to six weeks in advance to guarantee availability of your preferred brand and specification. Peak periods such as trade show seasons and the run up to major industry conferences tend to see high demand, so early reservation is advisable.
